The Comfort Series Instant Hot Water Solution!

Grundfos Instant Hot Water

Do You Wait For Hot Water?

Most of us know what it's like to run the tap or to wait for the shower to heat up before we step in. Waiting for hot water is uncomfortable and it wastes time and money.

The Wait & Waste Are Over!

The comfort of instant hot water and the elimination of water waste are just a GRUNDFOS SOLUTION away. Installing a Comfort System in your home adds true comfort to daily life by giving you instant hot water from any source in your home.

After your water faucet has been turned off, water remains stationary in pipes and cools. Water that cools overnight becomes a cold shower in the morning, when your hot water tap first has to 'run off' the cooled water before warming up. Those gallons -- often 2-3 per shower -- are lost down the drain, becoming wasted water. In an average household that takes four showers per day, that water waste adds up to thousands of gallons per year per home -- or millions of gallons per subdivision!

How Does The Comfort System Work?

The Grundfos Comfort System puts hot water into the hot water line instantly, using a pump with a built-in timer at the water heater and a patented bypass valve at the point of use.
Grundfos Instant Hot Water
The patented Comfort System provides the constant availability of hot water -- without the wait or the waste! And the pump's unique design ensures quiet, maintenance-free operation

SQ and SQE Series
Grundfos Pumps -- The world leader in pump technology
Is pleased to introduce the revolutionary SQ and SQE Series pumps

The beginning of the pump revolution starts today.
Grundfos has broken the mold to design a radically new submersible
pump that will bring about a whole new era in pumping equipment.
Grundfos is proud to introduce the new SQ Series of submersible pumps.

The SQ pump series was designed for the professional dealer. These pumps incorporate many protection and applications features giving dealers
confidence in their installation with the flexibility to adapt the pump to
many different applications.
There are two models of the SQ Series of pumps: the standard SQ
and the advanced SQE. Both models offer five flow sizes from
5 to 30 gpm and a horsepower range of 1/3 to 1.5 Hp.

Both the SQ and SQE incorporate the following common features:
 •  Dry-run protection
 • High efficiency pump and motor
 • Protection against up-thrust
 • Soft-start
 • Over-voltage and under-voltage protection
 • Overload protection
 • Over-temperature protection
 • High starting torque

Additionally benefits of SQE pumps with SmartFlo:
 o Constant pressure control
 o Variable speed regulation
 o Electronic control and communication

                                 Grundfos Constant Pressure Pump

1 Green arrows indicate when water is flowing.

2 A run-dry alarm shows when the pump has stopped because of low water conditions.

3 You can easily boost pressure in the system for special jobs. Easily return the water pressure to normal when finished.

4 Green and red lights clearly show you whether the system is on or off.

5 For daily use, the pressure settings can be locked.

6 If the system needs repair, a maintenance light provides a clear signal.

Fiberglass Pressure Tanks

The 9000 Twin Tank Softener

Utilizing the Fleck 9000 Control Valve, this versatile model softens water through one resin tank while a second resin tank remains in a stand-by mode. When the integral water meter indicates a need to regenerate, the stand-by tank automatically is put on line to provide uninterrupted soft water while the exhausted resin tank is regenerated. This freshly regenerated tank will then remain in stand-by until the meter triggers another regeneration. Most standard control valves are designed to bypass untreated water to the home during the regeneration cycle. This is why conventional softeners are programmed to regenerate at times of no water usage (usually at night).

The Alternating Twin Softener from Quality Water Systems can regenerate anytime, day or night, without hard water breakthrough. And because soft water is always available, regeneration is accomplished with treated water, keeping the resin bed cleaner than conventional softeners. All units are available with standard 1" riser type distributors or turbulators, which provide a rigorous backwash during regeneration. A bypass valve with 3/4" FNPT Nickel Plated Brass Yoke Connection along with 18" x 33" Brine Tank, Salt Grid Plate, Safety Float, Brine Well and Cap and Safety Overflow Fitting is included as standard equipment.

Options available include 1" N.P. Brass Yoke Connections, 3/4" and 1" MNPT Plastic Yoke Connections, 18" x 40" Round and 11" x 11" Square Brine Tanks.

Softening capacities range from 24,000 to 96,000 grains with flow rates from 8 gpm to 14 gpm.

Aqua Classic Reverse Osmosis

The Well Pro Dry Pellet Chlorinator
Appropriate sized system for most residential applications.
The world's most popular and practical dry pellet chlorinator.

The Autotrol Well PRO chlorinator is the first compact, low-profile dry pellet chlorinator designed especially for residential water needs. It is designed to eliminate unpleasant and potentially costly water problems such as foul-smelling, corrosive hydrogen sulfide, sink-staining iron and manganese as well as slime-causing, pump-clogging iron bacteria. The result is a cleaner, more efficient water system that requires less energy and maintenance while producing refreshing, odor-free water.

"The Land-O-Matic"
For agricultural, institutional or small community applications.

High capacity dry pellet chlorinator.

An essential part of a total herd health management program, the Autotrol Land-O-Matic chlorinator delivers sanitized water solutions for agricultural and small municipal applications. Utilizing dry chlorination to treat water contaminants at the source, the Land-O-Matic chlorinator is designed to effectively eliminate E. coli, parasites, viruses, organic scum, algae, iron slime and other biological contaminants. The Autotrol Land-O-Matic chlorinator helps dairy farms and cattle ranches increase profits by providing safer, more palatable drinking water.

 Conventional Residential Pump System

There are several factors to take into consideration when properly sizing a submersible pump system that will stand the test of time. Well depth, estimated yield of water supply, static (standing water level), drawdown (pumping water level), and offset distance (from well to pressure tank) need to be equated to insure that your submersible pump system will meet water usage needs effectively and efficiently. According to the State of Tennessee regulations, pumping systems must be installed and serviced by licensed professionals. The efficiency of a water system is entirely dependent on proper pump selection and system installation.

Submersible pumps are the most reliable and efficient means of water delivery on the market today. When it comes to submersible pumps, you usually get what you pay for. That is why Joe Samples Well Drilling only carries high quality stainless steel submersible pumps. Other companies may install plastic or bronze submersibles but we have found that a properly sized and installed stainless steel pump will last an average of 15 years with some running over 40 years!!
